Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan sheet metal installations
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components such as ductwork, HVAC systems, and metal frameworks
- Cut, bend, shape, and secure metal sheets using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Install insulation, supports, hangers, and fasteners according to project requirements
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards
- Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of materials on site
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of sheet metal mechanic experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications
- Skilled in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal and ductwork
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Attention to detail, precision, and pride in quality work
- Must have own PPE, meters and trade-specific tools
- Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from jobsites
