Power Labor USA is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician Journeyman to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential homes and multi-family projects. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, solid understanding of residential wiring systems, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, including wiring, panels, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and building plans.
- Work with various materials including EMT, Romex, PVC, and flexible conduit.
- Install and test circuit breakers, switches, receptacles, lighting, and GFCIs.
- Assist with service upgrades, remodels, and new construction wiring.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and homeowners.
Qualifications
- Active TDLR Journeyman License (required).
- Minimum of 4+ years of residential electrical experience.
- Proficient in-service work, remodels, and new construction wiring.
- Ability to lead apprentices and ensure code compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
