Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of commercial construction tasks including demolition, site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment safely to work areas
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment under supervision
- Assist tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as needed on site
- Maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition, including proper disposal of debris
- Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and adhere to OSHA standards
- Dig, trench, and perform basic concrete and masonry tasks as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of debris
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of general construction or commercial labor experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and assist skilled tradespeople
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs, stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must have own PPE and basic set of hand tools
- Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from jobsites
