Responsibilities
- Prepare, pour, and finish concrete surfaces for commercial and residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications to determine concrete layouts and finishes
- Operate concrete finishing tools including trowels, floats, screeds, and power tools
- Ensure proper leveling, smoothing, and curing of concrete surfaces
- Perform finishing techniques such as brooming, stamping, staining, or polishing, depending on project requirements
- Monitor concrete consistency, moisture, and curing times to achieve desired quality
- Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces as needed
- Coordinate with other trades and team members to meet project schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper storage and handling of materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years as a concrete finisher or related construction experience
- Skilled in leveling, smoothing, finishing, and curing concrete
- Familiarity with concrete safety procedures, PPE, and equipment operation
- Experience with decorative concrete, stamping, or specialty finishing techniques
- Must have own PPE and trade-specific tools
- Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from jobsites
