Power Labor USA is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician Journeyman to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with various electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.
- Perform testing and inspections to ensure system functionality and safety compliance.
- Work with various conduit types, including EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete jobs efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite while following all OSHA and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a commercial electrician journeyman
- Carry Active JE TDLR license
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience with wiring, conduit bending, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
