Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, or other materials to construct frameworks, furniture, cabinets, doors, window frames, and other structures
- Build, repair, or install structures and fixtures for commercial and residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects
- Execute metal stud framing with precision and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and storage of materials
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience (required)
- Proficiency in drywall installation and metal stud framing
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have PPE and own tools to complete assigned tasks
- Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from jobsites
